It's inspired by a true story and based on the book 'Devotion: An Epic Story of Heroism, Friendship and Sacrifice' written by author Adam Makos published in October 2014.

The movie focuses on the true story of two US Navy fighter pilots during the Korean War. Both Lieutenant Tom Hardner and Ensign Jesse Brown and how they became the Navy's most celebrated wingmen duo due to their heroic sacrifices.

Highlighting the strength and resilience of life as the only African-American Navy pilot during this time, Ensign Jesse Brown is played by actor Jonathan Major.

Within the film you will see how much both black excellence, black love, unity and interracial friendships exist.

Many have post on social media asking for the news to not be true and sending their condolences to other members of the group, family and friends.

The 810 Billards and Bowling Alley posted on their website that they will be closed for service on November 1. However, on their Instagram account they received a lot of backlash for posting thank-you post to Motorola for having an event at their venue the same night with no regard to mentioning anything about the tragic event .
