Invasion of 'Baby' too?

The very anticipated wait...now over! What many were expecting to hear back in October from Love and Hip Hop star and female rapper Cardi B. has arrived releasing her first studio album "Invasion of Privacy" on Friday April 6th.

An album consisting of 13 tracks, with Bartier Cardi and Bodak Yellow, prior release singles from the album. Bodak Yellow is the longest reigning single to take No.1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Within just two weeks of it's release, Bodak Yellow beat Lauryn Hill's record set for the song "Doo Wop (That Thing)" which was in 1998, two decades ago .

Cardi receiving a lot of love on social media from well respected TV personalities, music producers and other artist such as Ellen DeGeneres (Cardi E.), Timbaland and Chance the Rapper.

Cardi did not just invade our lives with an amazing album release but perhaps with some exciting personal news as well. A fan asked back in February if the artist was hiding a little secret. Cardi B. quickly denied the rumor by stating "I'm just getting fat." However, the fat she was referring to seems to be another human growing inside!

Cardi B. is expecting a child with her fiance Offset, member of hip hop group Migos. Revealing the news during her Saturday Night Live (SNL) performance her fitted white dress revealing her baby bump while performing her latest single 'Be Careful'. admitting afterwards that "I'm Finally Free"

Can't Tell Kanye Nothing...Right?

Crazy? Does not come close to describing the recent behavior of hip hop artist Kanye West. Within the past week, West has probably lost everything he worked so hard due to the result of a filter piece missing from his mouth.

Let’s flashback to 2009 when Taylor Swift won Best Female Video at the MTV Video Music Awards. As Taylor took the stage to give her acceptance speech she was interrupted by Kanye who took the mic to state, “Yo! Taylor I’m really happy for you; I’m going to let you finish but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time.” Some may agree with Kanye’s statement although many did not feel that was the best way to approach the situation we see today there are several memes on social media that will not allow us to ever forget this moment happened. In 2010 Taylor released “Innocent,” a song inspired by West from off her Speak Now album.

Kanye eventually apologized to Taylor and there was even talk of the two artist working together. Taylor forgave him and even presented West with the 2015 MTV Video Vanguard Award. The ‘bad blood’ between Swift and West was hashed but the feud sparked again once Kanye released Famous. The ‘bad blood’ between Taylor Swift and Kanye West does not compare to the rise of disappointment fans due to the hip hop artist recent behavior.

Kanye is currently on his ‘Saint Pablo Tour’ and Saturday night at the Sacramento show left many fans and other celebrities disappointment. In addition to the concert starting late, only a few songs were played, Kid Cudi making an appearance and the show ending early after Kanye’s rant.

All ticket buyers from the Sacramento show will be refunded for the short-comings of what they thought would be an amazing show. Also, the remaining 21 tour dates for the Saint Pablo tour are cancelled and ticket prices will be refunded. The cancellations include the Louisville, KY date for December 20th.

“Vote for Kanye 2020,” months ago West declared his interest in running for President. Americans felt as if seeing a hip hop artist as president may be what America needs until he spoke out about the 2016 election and the candidate he would have voted for had he voted on November 8.

Kanye chose the United States least favorite… Donald Trump. After this announcement on Thursday night in San Jose, those who were fans of Kanye booed and left his California show shouting “fuck you Kanye.”

As for some they were not surprised by Kanye’s announcement.

It seems like it has all fell down for Kanye. Was this all just a publicity stunt? Perhaps he wants a jumpstart to campaigning for 2020 presidency as if he now truly stands a chance.
